Origins
It all started with a lampholder.
In 1916 Arturo Simón began making lampholders in a small workshop in Olot, Catalonia. Four years later came the Simon 851 rotary porcelain switch — simple, useful and timeless.
Ever since, Simon has made the things we touch most at home: switches, sockets and lighting control. The workshop grew into an international industrial group, yet it stayed in family hands — today it is led by the fourth generation. And the factory in Olot is still working.
